We had a wonderful Christmas that was so full of joy. It wa super busy and we ate way too much. We started with my sister and her family, mom and dad, and my brother Mitchell coming over on Christmas Eve. Pap read the Christmas story for the kids(and for the adults) and then we opened presents. The kids had a blast. We went to the Christmas Eve service together and came home and played games. We woke up Christmas morning and enjoyed what Santa brought and then sat around and played for the whole day. I was kinda dissappointed that it was going to be just our family Christmas Day. I am so use to having a day full of family together, but it was so much fun. We enjoyed our kids so much and realized how we need to take more time to just be still and play with our kids. It was great. I was so reminded of how the Lord has so blessed. I am so thankful for his mercy on our lives. I pray on a daily basis that my kids will one day truly understand what being blessed means. I hope you enjoy some pictures from our Christmas. This was my Christmas present from my whole family and Joel's whole family. I was shocked!! I love it.
I've missed seeing youat BSF, so I thought I would check up on you...your Christmas pics are cute..I love the one with the kids in front of the stockings. Hope you guys are having a great New Year! Carrie
Yes, I love Emily! I've only met her recently...but have 'known' her through the blog year for over a year or so. She is the sweetest!
So excited to hear that you guys are adopting from Ethiopia. You already have a beautiful family - cute, cute kiddos. Your family will be even more beautiful with a sweet Ethiopian babe!
